About Me
Lori A. Tyler, Ph.D., M.O.B. has a practice in Whittier, California, called Jungian Psychotherapy. She provides dream analysis and offers you a way to experience and integrate your behaviors and symptoms. Clients must make an appointment before coming in.
Whittier is a suburb of Los Angeles County, approximately 12 miles southeast of downtown LA. The city is known for Whittier College and uptown charm. Founded in 1887 as a Quaker colony, it was named after the poet John Greenleaf Whittier and historically was a major agricultural hub for citrus fruits and walnuts.
From a Jungian Perspective
Ms. Tyler does not offer traditional substance use disorder treatment but instead approaches your Mental Health from an area of psychology that explores issues that are typically not a part of traditional psychotherapy.
She works with you to find deeper meaning in suffering while investigating your intrinsic or internal energy and balances that may create Mental Health symptoms. She believes that you must explore your inner world to provide rebirth and renewal.
Dream Analysis for Self Knowledge
Ms. Tyler appeared in the Healthline series The Science of Dreams, discussing nightmares, what they are and what they tell you about your mental health. She and her team analyze dreams to help clients reach greater self-knowledge and approach mental health challenges from a different perspective.
If you’re unsure if this is an approach you want to use, Jungian Psychotherapy offers a free 15-minute consultation. Ms. Tyler works with most major insurance providers in the area and has limited sliding scale fee slots available for clients who qualify.
