About Me

Thank you for reviewing my profile and considering seeking guidance, to maneuver your way
through the life challenges you are facing. It is of utmost importance that the therapist you
choose to share your concerns with provides a safe and trusting environment that is void of
judgment or negative consequences. If you decide to choose me as your therapist, I can assure
you that I will be respectful of your time and invest my time and expertise, to create a beneficial
partnership, that leads to addressing your concerns and results in improving your life. Below
you will find an overview of my therapeutic experience and approach that I hope will assist you
in making your decision and choice of a therapist.

I am a licensed Master of Social Work in the state of Michigan. I received my degree from the
University of Southern California in 2012. I have been providing individual and couples therapy,
through out patient settings, and through Telecounseling, since 2015. Previous to 2015, I
provided case management services in a senior independent living facility and have extensive
experience with helping seniors access resources to improve and enhance their lifestyle.
My therapeutic style is quite eclectic and includes a variety of modalities to address mental
health challenges such as; anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, personality
disorders, phobias, chronic illness, developing skills to improve ways of communicating,
caregiver stress and assisting with coping strategies to reduce life stressors and improve overall
life satisfaction.

Therapeutic Modalities include: Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy,
Motivational Interviewing, Grief and Loss, Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention, Anger
Management, Conflict Resolution, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, and the use
of Mindfulness, Breath Work and Relaxation Techniques

Sometimes People Need Help…
Changes in life are always occurring but sometimes change can make us feel overwhelmed and
unable to function the way we would like to.
Sometimes change is unexpected and can negatively effect our ability to function in our job,
carry out daily routines or manage our personal affairs.
Sometimes medical challenges with ourselves and/or with others can require unexpected changes
in our lifestyle.
Sometimes conflict with spouses, significant others, family members, friends, or co-workers can
cause unwanted or unmanageable feelings and emotions.
Sometimes life challenges can make us question our self-worth or have a negative impact on
how we feel about life.
Sometimes difficulties in our life contribute to the development of thoughts, behaviors and habits
that are not healthy for us.
Professional help can bring awareness to what is not working in our lives and assist in
developing healthier ways of thinking, doing and behaving.
Sometimes we feel totally alone and just can’t seem to find the answer or solution we need to
feel better on our own…
Sometimes We Just Need Help
Therapy provides hope and can ease the difficulties that often present themselves as we journey
through life. I look forward to partnering with you in that process.
