Biography:Marisa Logsdon holds a Master of Arts degree in counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spring Arbor University. She has a counseling license from the state of Michigan and is a member of the Michigan Counseling Association. She is nationally certified and is also a Registered Social Service Technician.
Marisa believes that “life is hard – counseling can help”.
She has been trained in ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Behaviors, Critical Incident, Depression, Grief/Loss, Parenting, School Issues, Self Esteem, Stress Management, Autism, Careers, Domestic Violence, 5 Love Languages, and Suicide Prevention.
“I believe the purpose of counseling is for the counselor to assist the client in answering their own questions and addressing their own feelings. As a counselor, I strive to provide a supportive atmosphere to explore current issues that a client may be facing. The purpose of a counseling session is to address these issues in a positive way in efforts to reach the goals that a client has set for themselves. Marisa resides in Michigan with her husband, two young children and two very active dogs.
