Learn MoreAbout Me
Hello, I’m Nina. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me – the fact that you’re here means you’ve already taken an important first step towards improved emotional and mental wellness. Finding the right therapist can be a process, so let me share a bit about myself to help you understand what you can expect from working with me.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, recognizing that each individual is unique and comes with different needs and preferences. We start where you are and go where you want – at your speed!
I believe a warm, safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported is critical to therapeutic success, and I am committed to providing that space for you. Life is full of turbulence; know you are not alone! Together, we can explore new approaches and perspectives along your path to understanding, healing, and personal growth.
I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado in 1997. In 2000, I graduated from the University of Denver with my Master’s degree in Social Work. A few years later, I decided to return to school, and in 2019, I received my Doctorate in Psychology with an emphasis on Health and Wellness.
My passion has always been helping others! With over 25 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, PTSD, trauma, life transitions, medical issues, and stress. Whether you’re dealing with chronic illness, navigating a significant life change, or managing everyday stressors, I am here to support you.
A bio can only provide so much information – I know you may have specific questions or want more insights into my practice, so please feel free to reach out. Therapy can be life-changing, and I am here to help you on your journey to wellness. Let’s take this step together.
