About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington State with extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and work-life balance. I have helped many people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps find clarity, stability, and meaningful change.

My journey into this profession has been unique. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a monk, living and working abroad. During that time, I developed a deep understanding of the human experience—its struggles, contradictions, and potential for growth. This background continues to shape my work today, helping me identify deeper patterns while also offering practical, grounded guidance that clients can apply in their daily lives.

My therapy style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe in treating every person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, without judgment or stigmatizing labels. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and insight-oriented work. I tailor each session to your specific needs, focusing not only on understanding your challenges but also on helping you make concrete, sustainable changes.

I care deeply about helping people improve their lives. If you are feeling stagnant, navigating difficult emotions, or ready for growth, therapy can be a powerful step forward. Together, we’ll work to help you get unstuck and move toward the life you want—one step at a time.

It takes courage to seek change and pursue a more fulfilling life. If you’re ready, I’m here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you.
