Joy Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Kansas City, Missouri. She is also the founder of Neurofeedback Counseling and Assessment Services (NCAS). Her practice is rooted in neuropsychotherapy and the neuroscience of attachment.Â
Neuropsychotherapy focuses on the connection between the mind, brain, body and environment. In her office is Pearl, an Australian Labradoodle who is in training for therapy. Clients can choose whether or not they want her to participate in sessions.Â

Joy uses a number of evidence based practices and interventions to help her clients change and heal. She specializes in treating trauma and PTSD and creates individual treatment plans for her clients.Â
