I was a First Responder to the World Trade Center Incident and served on the National Mental Health Disaster Team via the Red Cross.
I have a passion for and an innate belief that people can learn, grow and change. My specialities include Grief Work, Anxiety, Depression, Substance Abuse. I work with diverse client populations including older adults and the LGBT community.
My therapy style is positive and interactive. I am a good listener and I don’t believe in labeling or stereotyping others. I believe in problem solving and finding solutions from a cognitive perspective. Therapy is about you and your needs. I will tailor your treatment to meet your specific needs.
It takes courage to start or even to start therapy again. I look forward to supporting you in your endeavors of change.
