About Me

Kim Williams Jenkins is a licensed clinical social worker with Culturally Competent Compassionate Counseling in Staten Island, New York. She sees couples, families and individuals of all ages. She speaks some French. Sessions are offered both in person and virtually.

She takes cash or check and accepts a wide range of commercial insurance providers. A sliding fee scale may be available to eligible individuals based on income and other qualifying factors.

Specialized Mental Health Care for Eating Disorders and PTSD

Kim specializes in couples and individual therapy, families and groups. She works with clients who are on the autism spectrum, the LGBTQ+ community, and those who are struggling with issues like body image, self esteem, eating disorders, depression, trauma, PTSD, infidelity and addiction. She also provides clinical supervision.

Personalized CBT and SFBT

Her eclectic treatment approach is impressive to me. She uses motivational interviewing, advanced integrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT). Her aim is to allow clients to work at their own individual pace, in a professional, respectful and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.
