As a counselor I seek to empower people to be set free of limitations in their lives caused by fear, anxiety and doubt. My therapy approach includes challenging, comforting, and providing necessary tools for freedom to take place in your life. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) New Jersey. I have been a licensed counselor for 10+years and a pastor for 50+ years.

Challenges to life such as addictions, eating disorders and relational difficulties are often related to relational trauma. I can help you to safely explore your family of origin in order to discover any triggers that might be the cause of the problem(s) you are facing.

My counseling style encompasses an integrative approach that is person-centered and strength-based with specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Christian Counseling. I enjoy working with individuals and couples.

Losing someone to physical death is extremely difficult. However, that is not the only type of loss we must learn to cope. There are various ambiguous losses such as a loss of your job, adult children moving from home, a spouse facing medical challenges such as dementia, and many other similar situations. If that describes you, I can help!

With regards to my communication style, I am straight forward and direct. My goal is to assist you in developing an effective plan to resolve the challenges you are facing to cope with various life challenges.
