Brennan Lehotay is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and the founder of Sana Mente Behavioral Health, providing psychiatric care and medication management in Topeka, Kansas.

Brennan supports teens, adults and seniors navigating trauma, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD and gender-related concerns through an integrated blend of therapy, care planning and medication management.

Brennan’s mission is to deliver trauma informed, affirming, whole-person care that meets each client as an individual rather than a diagnosis.

Trauma recovery is at the heart of Brennan’s practice, supported by training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a PMHNP post-master’s certificate from Northern Kentucky University.

With psychiatric nursing experience dating back to 2018, Brennan combines thoughtful medication management with therapy informed support.

Sessions may draw on modalities such as CBT, IFS, EMDR, ACT and DBT, paired with individualized care planning to address both symptoms and underlying patterns.

Brennan offers inclusive, identity affirming psychiatric care for LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent individuals and those exploring gender, sexuality, ethical non-monogamy or kink-aware relationship dynamics.

Brennan serves clients ages 15 and up via telehealth across Kansas and through limited in-person appointments at the Topeka office on SW 21st Street.
