Helen Perez-Boyd

Hi! My name is Helen and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I’ve been in the field for 26 years, and in practice for 9 years. I’ve worked in various therapeutic settings such as employee assistance, providing on-going clinical services and case management for employees with work performance problems. I’ve also worked in preventive services, providing brief and extended therapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families, as well as working in a substance abuse outpatient setting, where I provided substance abuse counseling for adolescents and adults. I have a special interest in personality disorders and currently run two online support groups for survivors, as well as Cluster B individuals working on self-awareness and behavior modification.

I would describe my approach to therapy as warm, non-judgmental, and empathic. My role is that of a facilitator. Through our sessions my goal is to help you work on the areas of your life that you feel you are struggling with.
