Kiernan Hamilton

My name is Kiernan Hamilton, and I am a licensed clinical social worker, with the R psychotherapy designation for the state of New York. I have been in this field of work since 2006, starting off working with families with youth that had behaviors which put them at risk for placement outside of the home. I then worked in community mental health dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, severe mental illness, trauma, and family issues. I also supervised new social workers to develop their own practice. From there, I did program development for our local hospice care, as well as grief counseling and social work roles. Most recently, I have grown as a private practitioner. I work with primarily teens and adults on issues related to relationship and family issues, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and stress management.
