About Steven C. Kassel is a licensed marriage and family counselor and board-certified biofeedback therapist in Santa Clarita, California. Sessions are available in in-person and online formats. Remote biofeedback and remote neurofeedback services are now available, using telemedicine screenshare. His clinic accepts most insurance plans up to a certain number, then takes only cash paying clients. A sliding fee scale may be possible for uninsured individuals based on need. Thirty-Three Years of Mental Health Care Expertise Mr. Kassel has been in practice for 30+ years. Since 1991, he has catered to children, individuals, couples and families. I’m impressed by his extensive experience working with stress related medical disorders, pain management, anxiety and depression, relationship obstacles, autism and attention deficit disorder (ADD). Traditional & Technology Assisted Treatment Mr. Kassel helps clients overcome emotional and psychophysiological issues using traditional talk therapy combined with technology assisted therapies such as biofeedback and neurofeedback. He practices eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) for patients with trauma. He also uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) and the Gottman method.
