Nicole Leon is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Perspectives Counseling in Gulfport, Mississippi. She offers sessions online only and is out-of-network for insurance.

Education and Experience

Nicole has been practicing for over 18 years, having earned her MS from Loyola University New Orleans. Her professional experience and expertise include but aren’t limited to supporting adults in processing trauma, as well as navigating depression, addiction, anxiety, ADHD, and relational issues. 

She’s worked with clients from all backgrounds including single and working parents, medical professionals, medical students, young adults, educators, and LGBTQ+ folks.

Nicole believes everyone is capable of change, growth, and joy. She understands how daunting it can be seeking therapy, and always seeks to meet clients wherever they’re at in their healing journey. 

She aims to cultivate a space for joy and judgment-free sharing that feels open and safe. She mostly works with adults using a family systems perspective, which in practice means she tries to understand individuals as whole including the systems they’re a part of. 

This can include work, various communities, and family. Other methods she uses include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.
