Jaynie Palmer

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 14 years of experience working in the field of social work.

I have worked in a variety of social work settings including juvenile justice, child welfare, adoption, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and within the criminal justice system.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who have experienced acute and chronic trauma in their lives. I love being able to work with individuals and family’s who are going through one of the most difficult times in their life and seeing them heal over time with the right support and advocacy.

I specialize in working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma and use a trauma informed lens to meet their needs. I am certified in EMDR, TF-CBT, and TBRI and also have experience utilizing CBT, DBT, and other interventions.

I believe in meeting the client where they are at and using a strengths based approach to empower clients.

I currently work with victims of violent crimes and am very passionate about this. I am highly collaborative and have worked with multidisciplinary teams throughout my career. I am committed to a life of cultural humility and doing my best to be an ally to others.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my dogs, daughter, gardening, traveling, and enjoying sporting events!
