Shawn King

I am licensed in New Hampshire and South Carolina with 8 years of professional experience as a mental health counselor. I have experience in helping adolescent and adult clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management and parenting concerns. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion with a philosophy that all individuals have the capacity within themselves to heal. My work with clients is focused on trauma-informed, somatosensory and Polyvagal-informed interventions that help promote nervous system regulation to improve engagement and connection in one’s life. I will tailor our collaborative dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and personal goals.
