About Me

I understand that beginning therapy can feel difficult, especially when we hesitate to prioritize our own needs. I acknowledge the courage this step takes, and I pledge to support you as you work toward your goals. I will focus on your needs and collaborate with you in partnership to create the best path forward.
My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps identify thought patterns that create barriers to your goals. I also encourage mindfulness practices and use strength-based, solution-focused methods that build on your personal strengths and protective factors to support meaningful change.
I work with adults from young adulthood to senior years who present with a wide range of concerns. I have successfully supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, job loss, relationship challenges, grief, self-esteem issues, trauma, and chronic illness.
My communication style is calm and open, designed to reduce barriers to our work together. I use various tools to ensure we have a productive and meaningful relationship. You will experience a supportive, non-judgmental, and safe environment in which to work toward your goals.
I have a deep desire to help others achieve their life goals and provide support to those who are struggling. I have practiced in a variety of areas, which has given me a broad knowledge base. I achieve tremendous fulfillment in helping clients move forward with fullness of life.
Our first session is a time to get to know one another. I will gather information about why you are seeking therapy and engage in conversation about you and the important people in your life. I understand that most people feel a bit nervous, and I will work with you to help you relax and feel comfortable.
