Scott Durkin

I have extensive experience leading inpatient group therapy at West Hills Behavioral Hospital in Reno, working with a diverse group from children to adults. My expertise spans various disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, trauma, and addiction. I am certified with Prepare/Enrich for premarital and marriage counseling and can incorporate a Christian perspective if desired.

I utilize talk therapy, CBT, DBT, and other techniques to support my clients in addressing their challenges. My aim is to provide understanding, empathy, and effective coping strategies.

Starting therapy can be daunting due to the fear of judgment, but I assure you that my office is a judgment-free zone. I strive to make you feel comfortable, offering coffee, soda, or water to help you feel at home.
