About Me
Alicia Arnold, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), leads Element Counseling and Wellness in Reno, Nevada. She brings this steady and deeply experienced presence that shapes the whole practice.Â
She is the owner and Clinical Director and she also serves as a State of Nevada Primary and Secondary Clinical Supervisor, which means she guides other therapists as they grow in the field. Alicia first earned her degree in Human Services and later completed her master’s program in Counseling and Educational Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno, so her roots in this community run deep.Â
A Clinical with Deep and Hands-On Experience
Alicia started her career in 2009 and has worked across many different environments. She has supported survivors of domestic violence, treatment-level foster youth and clients in residential, intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) eating disorder programs. That kind of background gives her a wide lens, especially when she’s sitting with someone who has lived through layers of trauma or long stretches of emotional stress.
Today she works with individuals, couples and families. Her specialties include childhood trauma, complex trauma, chronic illness, eating disorders and neurodivergent conditions like autism and ADHD.
