About Me
Woolley Counseling is based in Cape Coral, Florida, and is owned by licensed clinical social worker and therapist Robin L. Woolley. She can assist clients in New Mexico, Arizona, Michigan and Florida. Sessions are offered online via video or phone on Mondays through Thursdays, lasting for an hour each. Potential clients are encouraged to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to talk about insurance and billing before beginning therapy.Â
45 Years of Specialized Mental Health Expertise
Ms. Woolley has been in practice for 45 years. She specializes in addressing mental health care concerns like anxiety and trauma, stress and depression. She places a special emphasis on inclusive care for women and veterans, with a focus on nervous system discharge. Ms. Woolley is also the successful author of a self-help book.
Woolley Counseling is based on compassion and intuitiveness. Ms. Woolley takes a holistic, person centered approach, addressing each client’s mind, body and spirit. She’s dedicated to creating a safe therapeutic space where clients can explore their inner worlds and feel confident enough to transform their lives.
Heart Centered & Person Focused Approaches
Ms. Woolley uses a wide range of evidence based and somatic interventions to help clients achieve lasting wellbeing. The women’s track can run up to eight weeks and combines cognitive behavioral tools aimed at identifying thought patterns with somatic methods to regulate the body and the nervous system.Â
One goal as a counselor is to ensure that each therapy session is comfortable and collaborative by focussing on creating personalized treatment plans to promote healing. Woolley Counseling makes individuals feel safe, supported and validated by showing them that trauma lives both in the nervous system and the memory.
