I’m so glad you are here! Having been in the very same spot you are in seeking therapy, I know how first-hand how hard it can be to take this first step.

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Virginia with 10 years of experience working in clinical practice. I work with clients who experience a wide range of symptoms and concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and ADHD. I have also worked with many people who have experienced trauma and emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and relational therapy. I will tailor our work and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and seek to provide a safe, affirming space that meets you where you are. I also specialize in animal-assisted and nature-based outdoor therapy and although we’ll meet virtually, you’ll be surprised how I can help you incorporate this specific kind of healing into our work if that is of interest to you!
