Patricia (Tricia) Ring

My name is Tricia Ring. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or LCSWI am licensed in Indiana with 30 years of clinical professional social work experience. I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology then after many years of casework I pursued my Master’s in social work. I received both degrees in the state of Connecticut. I moved to Indiana in 2017.

I utilize evidenced based therapy techniques with strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have strong background & training in the following: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Behavior Modification, Problem Solving and Harm Reduction. I have experience in helping clients with Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Bi-Polar Disorder.

I have vast experience with individuals from young adult to age 55. I have clinical experience with: blended families, family of origin, adopted families, domestic violence victims, brain injuries, veterans and more. In addition, I have extensive experience with both females, males, non-binary Trans, queer, gay and alternative lifestyles. Their backgrounds vary and came from many different demographics.

Together we will determine the best interventions which will enable you to move along your mental health journey. And utilize humor along the way which I believe is necessary. Your experiences are unique to you alone. We will explore your story together and move towards attaining your clinical goals.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
