Travis Holt

Travis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the University of South Florida in 2021. Travis is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and ART is his preferred modality. Travis takes a clear and direct approach to therapy while maintaining the ability to be empathetic, tactful and nonjudgemental. Travis has spent the last 5 years working with the combat veteran community to include serving the spouses and significant others of combat vets. As a Marine Corps. combat veteran himself, Travis aligns with the concept of post traumatic growth. Travis believes that although we cannot change what we have been through, we can change how we carry that psychological weight by turning pain into power/purpose.
Prior to obtaining his master’s degree and working with combat veterans, Travis has 15 years of experience working in various settings: Residential for adults and youth, restorative justice, the prison system, truancy, long term care (elderly, dementia, hospice etc.).
In his spare time Travis enjoys being physically active (weight lifting, yoga, biking, swimming), bird watching, reading and playing chess.
