Hello and welcome. My name is Terri and I’m excited about the possibility of working with you through BetterHelp. At some point in everyone’s life, problems occur. These issues can often seem bigger than we can handle. Whether it’s depression, coping during COVID, financial hardship, illness, self-esteem issues, relationships difficulties, problems can seem insurmountable. We find ourselves struggling to cope. This can be lonely and overwhelming. My role is to help you navigate through those difficult times.

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 11 years of clinical experience. I have worked with individuals of all ages and from all walks of life with a wide range of concerns including; family conflicts, life transitions, self-esteem issues, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and grief. Over the years it has been a privilege for me to work as a counselor. Being able to empathize, listen, and support someone who is going through a challenging time is an honor that I take very seriously. I look forward to working with you on your journey to a healthier, happier and less stressful life.

I use an integrated approach to treatment. I combine many types of therapeutic techniques and will use a client centered approach which includes strength-based, goal focused techniques. I want you to feel heard and understood while I assist you in developing the tools needed to manage your issues. My goal is for you to gain insight into yourself and find the most effective ways to help you feel in control and empowered.
