About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in LGBTQ+ issues, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-based disorders. I work mostly with young adults and teenagers and specialize in treatment approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The approaches I take can help you process your trauma and unwanted thoughts/feelings, work toward acceptance and planning for future goals, and learn new behaviors to replace unhealthy behaviors keeping you feeling stuck/unhappy.

If you are feeling emotionally vulnerable and/or out of control, I’d love to help you navigate these big feelings as well as help you understand and change your behaviors so you can enjoy the life you’re living. Whether you are dealing with unresolved trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, religious deconstruction, depression, anxiety or other mental health issues, I am here to help. In therapy, we will work through those unwanted emotions and learn new skills to help you begin to deal with them effectively.

I will be honest and forthcoming with thoughts and tools I believe will be helpful for your recovery while maintaining a warm and comforting atmosphere in session. I encourage my clients to dig deep and hold themselves accountable for how they can do and feel better as well as take a social justice oriented approach to acknowledge the systems in place making it difficult to recover.

I can’t wait to hear from you!
