Rachel Sanabria Verified Provider
Clinical Social Worker/therapist
About Me
Rachel Sanabria, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who founded and is the sole therapist at Lobo Counseling in Madison, Wisconsin. After practicing for several years in Madison, she chose to open her own practice in response to a need she perceived in the community.
Madison is consistently ranked among the best places to live in the U.S., and those in recovery can find plenty of local attractions. Her clinic is by Hillpoint Park.
Sensitivity is a Strength
The underlying premise behind Lobo Counseling is a quote from one of her favorite musicians that identifies sensitivity as a strength. Ms. Sanbria addresses the whole person, including the generational history and cultural background, to approach mental health treatment.
Ms. Sanabria uses a nonjudgmental environment where your symptoms are treated without reducing you to a single diagnosis. Her goal is to help you develop greater insight into who you are and what you value, which ultimately directs and guides your future decision making.
Session Length & Insurance Coverage
Lobo Counseling provides 60 and 90 minute individual therapy sessions. She offers eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) sessions to address trauma related conditions in 90-minute sessions. Her office accepts several regional health insurance providers’ plans and will provide a superbill if she’s out of network with your insurance carrier.
