About Me

Lyndsey Burton, MS, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor and clinical supervisor with over 14 years of experience in the mental health and addiction field. She holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling and has worked extensively in both correctional and community‑based settings. Through her telehealth practice, Lyndsey serves clients across Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho, and Washington, offering accessible, client‑centered care to individuals seeking meaningful change.
Lyndsey specializes in working with late teens through adults and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution‑Focused Therapy. She is known for her practical insight, calming presence, and unwavering belief in her clients’ ability to grow, heal, and thrive.
Her background includes supporting clients with stress, anxiety, addiction recovery, motivation, self‑esteem, confidence, depression, and navigating significant life transitions. She also has extensive experience in correctional mental health, providing care in high‑stress environments and supporting individuals facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges.
Lyndsey’s approach centers on creating a safe, open, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions freely. She believes that seeking support is a courageous step toward a more fulfilling and balanced life and is committed to walking alongside her clients as they move toward meaningful change.
Outside of her professional role, Lyndsey is happily married, a devoted mother of four, two grandchildren, and an animal lover who cherishes time spent with her family—values that naturally infuse her work with empathy, authenticity, and heart.
