Stephanie Dean, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor at Thriveworks in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She offers spiritually-based counseling services for clients of all ages, struggling with co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorder.   She specializes in addressing women’s issues, addiction, anxiety and depression. Her approach to treatment starts with helping her patients find the root of their disorder by addressing past traumas and any associated shame or guilt they may be experiencing.  She also works with those struggling with self-esteem issues and those diagnosed with ADD. Stephanie is also the founder of the Greater Bogalusa Community Center, a nonprofit human services organization. Specializing in Women’s Services and Couples Therapy Stephanie provides services to individuals, couples and families in need of treatment. She works with couples to help them build lasting bonds, improve communication and intimacy and enhance their overall relationship. She is also a motivational life coach and helps couples talk through difficult barriers.  Thriveworks Was Started to Address Shortage in Quality Therapy In 2008, when Thriveworks first began, the practice set out to change the negative image of in-person therapy and telehealth therapy by improving its approach to treatment and the wellness of its clinicians. As a test of the state of therapy in 2007, their founder called 40 clinicians and consequently reached every single clinician’s voicemail.  Over 2,200 Clinicians in Over 340 Offices This lack of accessibility and communication made him realize the true need for available care. Their main services include one-on-one counseling, family therapy, psychiatry, teen therapy and more. I think it’s great that they offer more than 340 offices and more than 2,200 clinicians to provide immediate mental health treatment when you need it.
