Aaron Silverman

Hi my name is Aaron. I’m a 2013 graduate of Touro College, School of Social Work, NY, NY. I have found that school taught me the names of things in life, but life taught me those things. So much of my time is spent connecting with people, which I am energized by. I am a student of my experiences and try to learn how to live my life better from almost everyone I encounter. I assist people in becoming congruent to improve their relationships and can support affectively in helping them connect with their families and better the communities they live in.

Sometimes people need help in expressing the power they wield and so I use my whole self as well as techniques like Mindfulness, IFS, Psychodynamic Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and CBT as proven strategies to achieve congruence and emotional, relational, and professional goals.

Therapy sessions are a very personal process. With whatever place you’ve come to, I’ll meet you there. You can expect to become more congruent faster than if struggled through on your own. You will have less internal and relational conflict, find more peace with your loved ones, and be happy with yourself.
