Learn MoreAbout Me
My name is Dr. Robin Z. Miller
First, thank you for taking the time to read a little about me.
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University, a Master’s degree from Webster University in Clinical Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree from Rollins College in Psychology.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in private practice in Florida.
I completed my internship providing psychological services for teens and young mothers in a pregnancy program, as well as working as a substance abuse counselor with adults. Upon completion of my Master’s, I went straight into private practice.
I am a former high school psychology teacher. I serve as a general psychology and basic counseling skills adjunct instructor at Eastern Florida State College.
My area of focus in my practice is on anxiety and depression. I work mainly with people who are feeling stuck and have a negative outlook on life. My goal is to help people gain clarity in their situations and build the skills to find meaning and purpose in their lives.
If you are experiencing difficulty in communicating with friends, family, partners, etc., I have many tricks up my sleeve:)
I use an eclectic approach to therapy. With a mix of various CBT techniques to challenge many of those illogical thoughts that plague many people, with a mix of mindfulness activities when appropriate, I find that my clients do very well with these two modalities, when appropriate. Of course, there are many other approaches I use, but my main focus is to help where you need it. I treat each client as a very unique individual, so once we meet, I can get a better idea of what the client may need as far as treatment approaches.
There is nothing more rewarding than guiding someone through their wellness journey!
